Massage Styles
Swedish Massage
Light to Medium touch. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with moving the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing. And it may help after an injury.
Deep Tissue
Firm to Deep pressure. Advanced techniques reach the second and third layer of muscles to eliminate chronic tension and stubborn adhesions/scar tissue build-up, increase circulation, improve posture, and relieve stress.
Hot Stone Massage
Used along with other massage techniques, hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.
Sports Massage
Firm to deep pressure; Local massage, body mobilization techniques, stretching, hot/cold modalities used to make muscles more pliable and or reduce inflammation, increase flexibility, loosen and lengthen tight muscles.
